Janette…ikz (pronounced genetics) is a poet, singer, musician, and speaker.

Life dealt her some very strenuous blows at a very early age. She went through sexual, physical, and verbal abuse. Yet amidst what she describes as this brilliant storm, she has been able to impact lives by using all that God has placed inside of her.

Although she has been performing for over 25 years, many became more familiar with her after her YouTube performances went viral. Her single youtube video “I Will Wait For You” and others went viral garnering near 50 million views online. Her influence has allowed her to travel the U.S. and internationally. She has been featured on the cover of Testify Sister magazine and Spoken Vizions Magazine, with appearances on 700 Club, BET, and more. 

Her debut album “Not My Own” is set to release this November. 

Most importantly, she is wife to her husband Matthew and mom to her daughter Amaris Mahogany.
